Today was the first time I've ever come to Tommy's Wax Center and the first time I've ever gotten a wax and it was life changing! I will never shave again! I've been a Tommy's Tanning customer for years and always found it was a well run business which is what made me decide to try the wax center. The facility is clean, quiet and the waxing rooms are private. The tech who completed my wax was friendly, professional and instantly made me feel calm. I was very nervous and she answered all of my questions and did a great job. I can't say it was painless but they use hard wax which made it less painful. Once the waxing part was over I don't feel much pain at all. The prices are reasonable. I will 100% be back again!

Do you hear the angels singing? I do. Do you know how difficult it has been for me to find a place that is thorough, clean, safe, and friendly in CT? Very difficult. 1. Hard wax is the way to go. 2. The price is sooo reasonable 3. They're safe, clean, and thorough and I can't stress that enough. I'll be a regular in no time.

Absolutely love this place. As others have commented, finding a waxing place that is consistently SANITARY can be difficult. I live in Virginia, and travel north to visit my 85 year old mother each month - and like most older women, she's got hair sprouting out of places where it never used to grow. in my search for waxing services I've seen open wax containers sitting amidst random tweezers on dirty hand towels at hair salons in Branford. Finally discovered Tommy's Wax. Every aspect of the facility - reception, treatment room, restrooms - is pristine. Staff are friendly, professional, well trained - and are very caring towards my mother. Services are very reasonably priced.

Clean facility in a convenient location with a long list of hard wax services and great package deals. You might find a comparable place to go based off of that, but, if you asked me, "Which Connecticut business has the friendliest staff?" I would say, hands down, Tommy's Wax Center in Branford! It's THAT noticeable -- everyone there is super friendly and professional. For that reason, I can't recommend it enough for whatever waxing services you're looking for!
